Sanctuary in unexpected places. A church on a hilltop in the Gorges du Verdon - this was taken during a very ambitious walk that myself and Monsieur planned through the valley. As the day was closing we hadn't even got half as far as we'd expected (this is what happens when you fail to take topography into account) but luckily were able to locate a last minute campsite along the way. All part of the adventure eh?
